George Feldstein
The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) awarded George Feldstein, President and CEO of Crestron Electronics, Inc. the CEDIA 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award. This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has exhibited outstanding, creative, innovative, and visionary leadership in the growth and advancement of the custom electronic systems industry.
Feldstein, who founded Crestron in 1971, was recognized for the exemplary contributions he has made during the course of his career, to Crestron and its employees worldwide, as well as the entire CEDIA community. From its humble beginnings, Feldstein has grown Crestron to encompass 27 offices worldwide.
Under Feldstein's direction, Crestron has pioneered cutting-edge innovations in the field of control and automation, including the VT Series, the first touchpanel to feature color, video and computer graphics; SmarTouch, the world's first RF wireless control system; CNMSX-PRO, the first IP-based control system; and e-Control; the first Internet-based control technology.
