        Crestron awarded Rob Peregoodoff, Director of Learning Services at the University of British Columbia’s UBC Sauder School of Business, with the Summum Bonum Award for Excellence in Teaching during a special award ceremony at UBC. Learn More Here

        2014 Summum Bonum Recipient Richard Wolfson

        Crestron awarded Richard Wolfson of Montclair State University with the Summum Bonum Award for Excellence in Teaching during a special ceremony in New York City. In addition to being a forward-thinking professor specializing in educational technology, Richard was a close personal friend of late Crestron founder George Feldstein. They met at a social gathering where Richard discussed a technical problem he was having at the university. George offered to personally help find a solution and the two became life-long friends. Mr. Feldstein nominated Professor Wolfson for the Summum Bonum award shortly before his passing in 2014. During his acceptance speech, Professor Wolfson payed to tribute to Mr. Feldstein as both a legendary technologist and world-class friend.

        Professor of English Composition Receives Esteemed Teaching Award

        Crestron awarded Professor Jennifer Haber of St. Petersburg College the Summum Bonum Award for Excellence in Teaching during a special awards ceremony at the Tarpon Springs Campus. The annual award recognizes the crucial mentoring role that teachers play in the academic and personal development of students. For more than 20 years, Adelanto, CA High School Principal Jerry Cradduck has epitomized that ideal as an education leader and advocate for technology in the classroom.         Professor of Educational Psychology Receives Esteemed Teaching Award

        Crestron Electronics, Inc. awarded Professor, Dr. Victor Alvarado of the University of Texas-Pan American's Educational Psychology Department with the Summum Bonum Award for Excellence in Teaching during a special award ceremony at UTPA. Crestron Director of Global Campaigns, Jeffrey Singer presented Dr. Alvarado with a commemorative plaque and cash prize during the blue ribbon event, recognizing Alvarado for his long-term commitment to his students and education. The ceremony was attended by more than 100 faculty, staff, students, friends and family members.

        Crestron Electronics, Inc. awarded Professor Yervant Terzian of Cornell University's Astronomy Department with the Summum Bonum Award for Excellence in Teaching during a special award ceremony at Cornell. Crestron Founder and President, George Feldstein presented Professor Terzian with a commemorative plaque and cash prize during the blue ribbon event, recognizing Terzian for his long-term commitment to his students and the science of Astronomy.
